visible as a tiny dot on most world maps, Grenada is located in the
south eastern Caribbean Sea and is situated north of Trinidad and
Tobago.
Grenada is a three island nation that includes Carriacou and Petite
Martinique. The warm climate, the abundance of sun, and the unspoiled
beaches are main attractions to the island. St. George's is Grenada’s
largest town, as well as its capital and offers one of the most scenic
waterfronts in the area. On the southwest part of the island, visitors
will find one of the most spectacular beaches, Grand
Anse Beach.
Close to hotels, this 3 km (2 mi) white sandy beach is calm and serene,
offering plenty of opportunities for relaxing or enjoying a variety of
watersports. Beautiful waterfalls and cascades are found throughout the
island, as well as trails for viewing the sheer, natural beauty of the
island and the chance to see some wildlife.
